Crysta is a member of DONA (Doulas of North America), a trained hypno-doula, and believes that, “every family deserves a gentle beginning.” By protecting and honoring positive birth wishes she hopes to show women a pregnancy and childbirth experience that will become one of their most treasured and cherished memories. Having attended several births in the mid Ohio valley area, she is well recommended by her previous clients.
Crysta is currently accepting new clients, and is supportive of any woman’s educated, informed birth plan. She offers help with forming such a plan by providing the necessary resources. She provides continuous support throughout pregnancy, labor, birth and the postpartum period.
Holly Poulson, Doula
740-376-0446
holly@mamaology.com
Holly attends many births to provide emotional support for mothers and their partners. Holly is also a trained hypno-doula. She is the mother of four children, all born using the Bradley Method of Natural Childbirth. She has had two hospital births and two “out-of-hospital” births and has been an accredited Bradley instructor since 1999. She has also had the privilege of attending numerous births as a labor support professional, or Doula, in both hospital and home environments.
Holly believes the majority of women can experience a natural childbirth, through education, learning how to stay healthy and low-risk through diet and exercise, and having a supportive and caring “coach.” Her goal is to eliminate the fear of birth so the couple can work together using relaxation techniques for a positive birth experience.
